We are dancers… and you are too! As young children, all of us automatically started to dance when we heard music. We swayed and marched and wiggled to the beat, as the music literally moved us. Music is so powerful!

As we grew up, most of us were (unfortunately) expected to resist that impulse to dance whenever we heard music. Maybe we just tapped our toes to a good beat, right? But that primal need to move our whole bodies is still inside us, and Line Dancing is a great way to rekindle the natural impulse to dance, no matter how long it’s been. Dancing is good for your body AND your brain!

About us… Lauren is a lifelong dancer, a dance advocate, musician, and choreographer, and has been teaching line dancing and leading an annual Halloween flash mob of dancing witches in Orange County, California, since 2021. Through this Halloween event, Lauren met Sara, and they went on to dance together for five years, creating a wonderful community of line dancers in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.

Sara is now lead teacher of Step to Shuffle, leading beginner and intermediate classes in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center, as well as parties and private lessons. You’ll find a link to Sara’s classes on the HOME/CLASSES page.

Lauren continues to be lead teacher of Line Dancing with Lauren in Seattle, WA, where she offers beginner and intermediate classes, as well as parties and private lessons. You’ll find a link to Lauren’s classes on the HOME/CLASSES page.
